    Lonely Nation(original)

Stone hearts, who has one? I know I do. One that allow me to watch the news and just say hey just another solider dead or another child abducted, its just news.

Ive traded in a heart of flesh that feels and has emotions to others and experiences maybe were scared of being hurt or way too sensitive.

31A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. (Luke 10)

Its really funny these days that with all the myspace, cell phones, pdas and aim we are all so far apart. I mean what a conundrum, Instant Messenger. Seems to instantly quench our thirst for love and emptiness.

But, how awesome do you feel when the power goes out? When the meaningless lols and comments fade away and its just you in the dark.

The truth is “Weve been breaking up inside”.

The truth is” We are the target market we set the corporate target, we are slaves what we want”.

So now you say a stone heart doesnt sound so bad. But thats not the way god intended it. Why should we camp out in apathy land?

Ill bet your holes and scars seem to be crying out right now. Mine were. “Im tired of feeling low, of feeling hollow”

Back in the day of the Old Testament, to cover up things such as weak walls, people used to whitewash them to hide the faults and such.

“Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, 11

Therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to

Fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling

Down, and violent winds will burst forth. 12 When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”

So hey, wheres the broken heart you have hidden behind walls? The insecurities you harbor just because of the cruelty of you peers? Its sure not getting healed by this lonely nation we call home, whether it is Coral Springs, Deerfield, Africa or Antarctica.

“This is the real thing, No rubber bullets now, this is the final bow” Everything cuts, and damages. But that doesnt mean you have to give up your heart. Ive just recently decided to give my new flesh heart a shot.

“But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34He Went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine.”

“We built these cities to stand so tall, weve lost our walls”

So stand up kids, dont fall down in this fallen world. Look around and smile, I love you guys and would hate you guys not to let yourselves be found. Were incomplete, and you all know it. But what makes hope so awesome is its the only thing thats hopeful. And in a lonely nation, its what we all need. Isnt sad that people who own nothing but the clothes on their backs and the child in there arms are happier than us?
